Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited (“JETCO”) today announced the launch of the cross-bank cardless withdrawal service in Macau. This service enables local customers of all participating JETCO member banks to withdraw both Hong Kong dollars (HKD) and Macau Pataca (MOP) from over 1,100 JETCO automatic teller machines (ATMs) in Macau. All the customer needs to do is to pre-set the withdrawal instruction on his/her mobile banking app and then scan the QR code on the ATM screen to get cash.

Hong Kong, 2 June 2020 – Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited (“JETCO”) today announced the rollout of Hong Kong’s first cross-bank cardless withdrawal service. Customers of participating JETCO member banks can take out cash instantly from any JETCO automatic teller machine (ATM) that supports this service by scanning the QR code on the ATM screen with their mobile banking apps.

Hong Kong, 19 May 2020 – Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited (“JETCO”) today announced its partnership with InsurTech start-up GoLion to offer insurance APIs via the JETCO APIX (API exchange) platform. At this stage, these APIs cover over 30 insurance products, including travel, saving, term life, hospital cash, personal accident, helper and study aboard student insurance plans from three major insurers in Hong Kong.

Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited (“JETCO”) today announced the launch of JETCO Pay Merchant Payment service jointly with eight banks, including Bank of Communications (Hong Kong), Bank of East Asia, Chong Hing Bank, Dah Sing Bank, ICBC (Asia), OCBC Wing Hang Bank, Shanghai Commercial Bank and Wing Lung Bank. The service allows consumers to make in-store QR code payment easily, while in-app or online payments can be completed quickly and securely by inputting only their mobile phone number. The fact that the service is linked to the bank account also means that consumers do not have to worry about topping up.

Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited (“JETCO”) today announced that Banco Tai Fung and Luso International Banking Limited have formally launched dual-currency JETCO Pay P2P mobile fund transfer service in Macau. The service allows bank customers to transfer Macau Pataca (MOP) and Hong Kong dollars (HKD) directly from their bank accounts by entering the recipient’s mobile number instead of the bank account number. Compared to traditional ways of money transfer, customers can enjoy a much higher level of convenience with key features like real-time fund transfer and anytime, anywhere access with mobile phone.

Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited (“JETCO”) today announced a partnership with 7 banks in Macau to offer dual-currency JETCO Pay P2P mobile fund transfer. The service allows customers of the participating banks to transfer both Hong Kong dollars (HKD) and Macau Pataca (MOP) to account holders of all local participating banks using just the recipient’s mobile number, without having to enter the bank account number.

Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited (‘JETCO’) announced the findings of its ‘Hong Kong’s Mobile Payment Survey’ (“Survey”) today, which show that mobile payment is on its way to become the next preferred payment method. It reveals that the proliferation of mobile payment services in Hong Kong has resulted in the rapid growth of the number of people using them. Among those surveyed, 76% had used the mobile payment services available in Hong Kong, indicating that the local mobile payment market could soon enter a period of high growth.

(FISC), Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited and Bank of Taiwan, which will offer consumers in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan access to cross-border ATM cash withdrawal services.

Hong Kong ─ 26 April 2016 ─ Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited (“JETCO”) today announced the official commencement of its JETCO Pay P2P inter-bank platform. China CITIC Bank International, Shanghai Commercial Bank and Wing Lung Bank are the first three of the 12 participating banks who will launch their respective JETCO Pay P2P services to customers via the platform.
