Alert – Bogus phone calls purportedly from JETCO

JETCO would like to alert the public and bank customers to concerning suspicious voice messages with incoming call display showing the same phone number as the JETCO enquiry hotline (2862-9999). The callers claim to be sales representatives of JETCO, promoting personal loan services on behalf of our member banks.

Please be reminded that these unauthorized personal loan telemarketing activities have no connection whatsoever with JETCO. JETCO never provides personal loan product discounts to customers of our member banks, and neither participates any loan product promotion activities from our member banks. JETCO does not, and will not ask customers to provide sensitive personal information by phone or email.

Customers are reminded not to provide any personal information to unsolicited callers. If customers are concerned they may have disclosed their personal details to any suspicious third parties, they should contact their banks or report to the Police.

In order to safeguard the interest of customers, JETCO shall closely monitor the trend of similar cases and will take corresponding actions wherever necessary.
